Seymour, WI (September 13th, 2025) - It was the Eric Blumer show as the Sun Prairie native picked up the win at Outagamie Speedway in a non-points show with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series. The win brought Blumer’s second of the season and a good start to his weekend.
Twenty-one cars made the trip north for the final points show prior to the point season finale. The night was capped off with many teams and drivers participating in the track's trick-or-treating for the kids.
N&S Towing Heat Races led the way with Blumer taking home the win in the first heat. Jeff Schmidt and Ayden Erickson brought home the rest of the podium spots.
Micheal Weber came home first in the second heat race. The Iowa native ran a clean race with the previous feature winner Ryan Mech picking up second and Keith Moline third.
The final heat went to Hayden Schmuhl, going third to first to pick up the win. Ty Olson made a long trip worth it in second while Nate Werner continued to show speed in his new car to finish third.
Schmuhl was redrawn to the pole on the feature with Weber alongside him at the start. The green flew and Schmuhl baubled the start, allowing Blumer, who started third, to sneak by for the lead. Blumer immediately parked his #6 on the bottom and held the lead. Olson jumped to the second spot after the start and Schmuhl fell to third. Schmuhl and Olson went at it for second momentarily before the caution flew. Blumer led the restart to green and held the low line strong, with Olson trying to find a way by but unsuccessful. Schmuhl and Weber battled for third spot while back in the field, Talyn Neuman began charging his way to the front. Neuman caught the front of the field and began to make his way forward, moving past Weber and then Schmuhl to break into the podium spots with a handful of laps remaining. Meanwhile up front, Olson continued to let Blumer know he was there, but Blumer was strong with the lead.
Out front, he pulled all the strings he needed to to pick up the win. Eric Blumer picked up his second of the season with Olson second and Neuman a hard-charging third. Schmuhl and Weber rounded out the top five.
With the win, Blumer took home awards from Aero Race Wheels and Rush Race Gear. Neuman came home hard-charger as previously mentioned and took home awards from Professional Plating and Rush Race Gear.
