EBR has a new winter home!

EBR has a new winter home!

When folks from Wisconsin hear “winter home,” it conjures thoughts of somewhere south, somewhere warm. For Eric Blumer Racing, it’s just a move a few miles east of Sun Prairie until race season. Now to be known as, “The Waterloo Compound,” our 2019 car and the brand new chassis for 2020 (pictured) will be housed for the winter at Stephanie Blumer’s new home in Waterloo, WI.

Asked if he’d miss having the 6E in his garage for the remainder of the winter, team principle Bill Blumer was brief, “Nope,” was his reply. While the EBR corporate headquarters will remain at the famed Maynard Drive Facility, Eric plans on doing the complete rebuild at Stephanie’s over his college holiday break. He hopes to have Justin Hoium, Brady Kruchten and Ryan Leigel available to help with the switchover.

Look for more web stories over the winter as EBR follows the 2019 banquet circuit. We are also preparing a “Year in Review,” and will offer some insights to the 2020 season as schedules are finalized.

Thanks to everyone who supports us including: Dog Guard Out of Sight Fencing, Storage & Handling Systems, Quest Civil Engineers LLC, Club LaMark (Madison’s Race Car Bar), Bullseye Games, BRS Radiator Machine & Fabrication, Ground Up Lifts, Wilcenski Farms, Grandpa Blumer, Blumer Antiques and Sun Prairie Pack 243 of the Cub Scouts.

And thanks to our crew! Justin Hoium, Cody Weisensel, Mike Hughes, Greg Leatherberry, Joe Wipperfurth, Brian Benisch, Bill Tefft, Brady Kruchten, Phil Espenes, Stephanie Blumer and Ryan Liegel.

We are actively looking for more support to help with the 2020 campaign, so if you or someone you know would like to help EBR, please contact us!
